Mission Trip 2014 Part One

Paul knew from the beginning that we would be working outside everyday, helping clear brush, clear trails, burn wood piles, etc. So, the kids were prepared for that–and we did just that!! I was the “team leader” for raking leaves and chunking rocks, so that’s all I did for four days! I don’t ever want to see another leaf or a rock again! 😉

I tried to get pictures of all the groups working (we had 4 different groups working in different areas of camp), but truthfully, most of my pictures are of the groups that were with me (we rotated daily)…..

The ticks were pretty bad there, too, so we were comparing (daily) how many ticks we got….I only had two ticks the entire week. Colton said he had 31 in ONE DAY (which I’m not sure I believe) but nonetheless, we had “tick checkin'” parties every afternoon, once we were done working!
